We start with the the former Posh Spice of the Spice Girls, who married soccer uber-star David Beckham five years ago and the cameras have been clicking ever since. Look at this woman in the picture to the right. I would, but I'm afraid I might catch fire.
















Number 9. Janet Jones-Gretzky

Sure, maybe she likes to lay down a few dimes on pre-season games between the San Jose Sharks and Columbus Blue Jackets. But no matter what her alleged gambling issues, no one can deny that Janet Jones is still one of the most beautiful women on the planet.

And to date, although she has been subpoenaed by the prosecution in the hockey gambling ring controversy that blew up a few years ago, she has never been charged with anything. Maybe she learned her lesson from watching Matt Dillon lose all that cash in the card game in The Flamingo Kid.










Number 8. Elsa Benitez

Elsa is not as famous as the other women on this list, and neither is her husband, retired NBA player Rony Seikaly.

She's Mrs. Tiger Woods. As if he needed anything more to be happy about. Tell me, when this girl is at home waiting for you, how in the hell do you stand around and hit golf balls for ten hours a day?

That's what separates Tiger from the boys, I guess. If I were him, I'd retire today, move to Jamaica with Elin, buy a beach front mansion and start a ganja farm.

Anna Benson is still married to Orioles Pitcher Kris Benson, who was once a highly sought after pitcher until he proved that he really kinda stunk.

Anyway, before she met Kris, as in when he was in the minors, the voluptuous and curvaceous Anna was an exotic dancer in Atlanta. During her husband's career, controversy has always surrounded this knockout. She once said that if Kris ever cheated on her, she "would sleep with the entire Mets team." She also criticized Mets' General Manager Omar Minaya for "trying to build an all-Latino team." Some believe it was that last comment that led to Kris's trade to the Orioles, and to his decision to file for divorce in March of 1996.







Number 5. Halle Berry

This Academy Award winning actress married Atlanta Braves slugger David Justice in 1992. It seemed like a marriage made in heaven: the most beautiful woman in the world and the handsome young All-Star player on the best team in baseball. It only lasted four years, as the two split in 1996. At the time, I thought Justice had gone completely out of his mind. How could he possibly break it off with this Earth angel?

Then I saw her Academy Award acceptance speech seven years later and I got a pretty good sense of what drove David out the the door. Halle may be a little bit whacked. But who the hell really cares? Look at her. She is stunning. And she's a damn good actress, too. I'm just hoping she doesn't win another Oscar anytime soon. It might ruin the whole thing





Number 4. Carmen Electra

Yes, she was married to Dennis Rodman and yes it was only for like a week or something. So, some would argue that she doesn't really fit this category. Oh yeah? Look to the right.

I wouldn't care if she had only dated Eldridge Recasner or Anthony Goldwire for a few days; I still would have found a way to jam Carmen onto this list.














Number 3. Marilyn Monroe

In the most famous of her three marriages, Marilyn Monroe wed Joltin' Joe DiMaggio in 1954 in one of the most celebrated weddings in sports history. The marriage was doomed from the start and ultimately ended after just nine months. Unfortunately for the Clipper, Marilyn enjoyed being a movie star more than she liked to cook spaghetti.

The two remained close until Monroe's death in 1962. By most accounts, Joe continued to love Marilyn Monroe until the day he died. I think a lot men have done the same.

This former Playboy playmate is married to Aaron Boone. That's right, Boston Red Sox fans. He's the one who hit the homer that broke your back in 2003 and he's got this little jar of honey, too.
